Mommy's Day Out

Sunday = Mommy's Day. That is what I have decided. This past Sunday was the first official Mommy's Day. Elise was here visiting and got us tickets to go see the Red Sox play at Fenway. We headed out to the city early to check out a store that she used to work for. Then we had lunch and decided to head over to Harvard, so we could see how the smart kids do it. We walked around a small section of the campus and tried to find a sign that said Harvard so we could take a picture, but had no such luck. So on our way to get a beer at a nearby pub, she decided a picture with the Harvard bookstore in the background would have to suffice. Then we were off to the ballgame. We got there a little late since we had some trouble navigating the subway system. Then we had to leave early to make sure we were able to catch the train home! But we had a great time while we were there. It was cool to check out the oldest baseball stadium and the crowd was amazing. The stadium was full and at one point "the wave" was done four times in a row. On our way out, we had someone take a picture of us behind home plate. Mommy Day was a success! And Nathan and Thomas had fun watching football together.
